My sister asked me to 3D-print a BB gun to scare off the squirrels, so I picked a couple designs from a creator called It’s On My Mind . he’s pretty well known on YouTube.
The first one I printed was the BB Launcher with the Quick-Reload Magazine. It’s a big design, holds over 50 rounds, and after a few test shots and a bit of breaking in . getting past the stiff spots , it worked pretty well.
The second one, the BB Launcher SF50, turned out to be the better of the two. It also handles about 50 rounds, but the design is smoother and more reliable straight out of the box. I didn’t have to mess with it as much to get it running.
If you’re thinking of printing one, I’d recommend starting with the SF50. It made a fun project and ended up being a neat little holiday gift.
